The Ministry of Information Society and Administration (MISA) in cooperation with the Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society, and within the USAID Civic Engagement Project, is implementing activities for harmonization of the Law on Public Sector Data Use with the EU Directive on open data and the re-use of public sector information (2019/1024). As part of these activities, on 26 October 2021, in the Parliamentary Club, the first meeting of the working group for harmonization of the Law on public sector data use with the EU Directive (2019/1024) was held.
The working group is composed of fifteen representatives of state institutions, civil society and media, and will make a significant contribution to the ex-post evaluation of the implementation of the current law, regulatory impact assessment of the new legal solution and preparation of the new draft law. The activities will be realized in the next three months and in addition to meetings with the working group, interviews and meetings with individuals and interest groups will be realized.
