Igor Isakovski was part of the group of enthusiasts who in 1998 launched the initiative for the establishment of the Centre for e-Publishing “Metamorphosis”, later transformed into the Metamorphosis Foundation (2004).

Igor made an exceptional contribution to the development of information society in Macedonia, in particular through the Cultural Institution “Blesok” and the publishing of the first European online magazine for art and culture “Blesok – literature & other arts.” As a poet, publisher, editor, media worker and promoter, he managed to bridge the gap between contemporary Macedonian literature and the digital world, and kept alive the connection with contemporary poetry and prose through translations and other forms of cooperation. His work was imbued with the connection with blues, in another synthesis – of words and music – from which he knew how to extract and convey the best.
