The CriThink project invites you to the “Fighting Hate Speech on Social Networks” webinar, which will take place on October 29 (Tuesday) at 11 am as part of the Media Literacy Days.

Participants will gain knowledge about the basics of combating hate speech on social media as part of the wider media scene.

Participation is open and free, with prior registration on the following link:



    • Hate speech as opposed to freedom of expression – basic concepts
    • Hate speech is a crime – a legal framework for protection
    • Examples of hate speech in the media and on social networks
    • Forms for combating hate speech on social networks (instructions)
    • Discussion with questions from the participants and proposed solutions
