Participants in the round table included leading professors from the departments of French language, and Translation and interpreting of the Philological Faculty “Blazhe Koneski” of the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, journalists, representatives of NGOs and about ten university students. Inspite the official title focused on print, the agenda included coverage of the role of radio, TV and new/online media in the educational process.
Metamorphosis representative Filip Stojanovski presented the concepts and tools covered within the framework of the Active Citizen Participation Through the Use of New Technologies project, promoting the wiki websites and participation in the Global Voices Online network. He emphasised the opportunities for professional improvement and citizen participation via the online tools related to the needs of the students and teachers.
The round table was organized by NGO Glasnikot – Courier de Macedoine within the program for decentralized cooperation between the region of Lower Normandy and Macedonia.
