ACTION SEE (Accountability, Technology and Institutional Openness Network in the South East Europe region) is a network of civil society organizations that jointly work on promoting and ensuring government accountability and transparency in the region of South-East Europe, raising the potential for civic activism and civic participation, promoting and protecting human rights and freedoms on the internet and building capacities and interest within civil society organizations and individuals in the region in using technology in democracy promotion work.

In the period 14th and 15th June 2023, the founding organizations of the ACTION SEE network, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, held a workshop to develop a communication plan. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Metamorphosis Foundation, Partners for Democratic Changes Serbia from Serbia, Mjatf! from Albania, and Why not? from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition to participating in the communications workshop, representatives of the ACTION SEE network also participated in this year’s edition of the POINT conference (Political Accountability and New Technologies), organized by our partner Why not? from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

POINT strives to be a platform for civil society that encourages the use of new technologies – a tool for education about the use of new technologies and social networks; a forum for the exchange of opinions and experiences; incubator for the development of ideas, projects and strategies; a virtual place for networking and informing socially conscious internet users; as well as a social network for research and seeking partners and collaborators and building coalitions.
