The “Fighting online hate speech” training took place on February 27, 2014 at the GEM Club in Skopje, and it was attended by 8 participants. This is the third training of the cycle of trainings on this topic to be conducted this year.


Professor Mirjana Najcevska led the first part of the training, discussing about recognizing and confronting hate speech. This was followed by a presentation of the mechanisms for reporting hate speech on the social networks, as well as a practical exercise aimed at strengthening the presentational skills of participants.

The “Fighting online hate speech” training is part of the initiative against hate speech launched by theYouth Educational Forum, Metamorphosis, Reactor and the New Media Center.
