Today, the Metamorphosis Foundation, in collaboration with the National Center for Computer Incident Response (MKD-CIRT) of the Agency for Electronic Communications, organized a webinar called “Basics of cyber security with the MKD-CIRT”. The webinar was organized within the framework of the project “Increasing Civic Engagement in the Digital Agenda – ICEDA”, co-funded by the European Union.

With this webinar, about 250 interested participants from various social spheres, including representatives of institutions, civil organizations, citizens, students, primary and secondary schools, universities, etc., had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the cybersecurity basics, maintaining cyber hygiene, good practices for the online security of citizens, digital devices and data on the internet, as well as with recognizing phishing and fake emails, protecting themselves on social media and their personal data on the internet. Among other things, the participants also had the opportunity to learn about the role the MKD-CIRT plays in the area of cybersecurity, as well as the services, and the free online pieces of training MKD-CIRT provides for the citizens.
