With the assistance of a team of experts in the relevant areas, Vistinomer.mk analyzes the promises of political parties and presents them in an easy to read, aggregated form, along with systematic statistics. Each identified promise is assessed according to the degree of its fulfillment: fulfilled, partially fulfilled or unfulfilled. Promises considered to be illogical or stated in a way that does not allow the promises to be verified were deemed inconsistent.
By familiarizing themselves with the promises and arguments from the explanations, citizens are being educated on how to read and interpret the election programs and platforms, and to measure and assess the extent of fulfillment of the promises.
Vistinomer.mk currently includes assessments of the promises made at the 2008, 2011 and 2013 elections by the parties that came to power and had a real opportunity to implement those promises. Vistinomer will continue its operation on a long term basis and will monitor the implementation of the pre-election promises of the winning parties, as well as the implementation of politicians’ statements that may be considered as promises.
The basic purpose of Vistinomer is to enhance the knowledge of citizens, media, NGOs, and the knowledge of parties and party members by being familiarized with numerous aspects of the political process in Macedonia through Vistinomer.mk.
