Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society and Center for European Strategies – Eurothink are honored to invite you to take part in the kick-off meeting for the Critical Thinking for Mediawise Citizens – CriThink project which will be implemented in the next 3 years with the support of the European Union. The event will take place on 1 June 2018 (Friday) at 11:00 at the Holiday Inn hotel in Skopje, Daily Hall.
By presenting the project, the meeting seeks to spur cooperation in the field of development of critical thinking and media literacy for the sake of openness and cooperation between all stakeholders. In addition, the project team will present project’s basic elements before the public and announce the first call for small grants.
As basis for the discussion through which participants will be able to present their ideas and needs, project team’s representatives will present project’s objectives and expectations in a concise manner. As part of the context presentation, the representative of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (AAAMS) will have the opportunity to deliver Agency’s views and perceptions regarding media literacy, as well as present the wider cooperation opportunities through the Media Literacy Network of the Republic of Macedonia.
This event will take no more than one and a half hour, and we will be joined by representatives of civil society organizations, media and relevant state institutions. It is a public event that can be attended by all interested citizens.
