The Metamorphosis Foundation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Information Society and Administration, conducted a two-day online training for open data on 12 and 13 July 2021, as part of the USAID Civic Engagement Project.
The training was attended by 22 civil servants who are part of the data opening teams in:
- General Secretariat of the Government
- Ministry of Interior
- Ministry of Education and Science
- Ministry of Information Society and Administration
- Public Procurement Bureau and
- Institute of Public Health.
The training for open aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of the people who will work on opening the data in their institutions.
During the two-day training, the participants had the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge about the concept, formats and benefits of open data, the process of identification, cataloging and prioritization of data sets, as well as to gain practical knowledge about the process of publishing data sets on the portal data.gov.mk.
The training for open data is part of the activities implemented to provide technical support to certain institutions in the process of opening their data.
