Within the project “Increasing Civic Engagement in the Digital Agenda – ICEDA” which is co-funded by the European Union and implemented in 6 countries (North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania and Estonia), Metamorphosis Foundation organizes Dialogues for the Digital Agenda: Everything You Wanted to Know About 5G Technology on 15 June 2021 from 10:00 – 11:30 via ZOOM.

The dialogues will be conducted in the form of a panel discussion dedicated to debunking the myths related to 5G technology in order to improve knowledge and raise awareness among citizens about the benefits of using it, and reduce technophobia in North Macedonia.

Speakers at the event who will talk on the topic are:

  • Mr. Bardhyl Jashari, Executive Director of the Metamorphosis Foundation,
  • Mr. Boris Arsov, PhD and Head of the Telecommunications Sector at the Agency for Electronic Communications,
  • Mr. Vasko Najkov, Access Networks Director at Makedonski Telekom, and
  • Mr. Tomislav Shuminoski, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT).

All interested in attending the discussion and learning more about 5G technology is invited to fill out the registration form (https://forms.gle/AfwrGcUK34jGZ2LcA) where, among other things, they will be able to ask their questions to the speakers. All registered participants will receive a link to enter the discussion.

Note: The event will be held in Macedonian and it will be broadcast live through the Facebook Live tool on the Facebook profile of the ICEDA network.
