Fifty primary school pupils will attend the hour and a half event. There will be a screening of 5 short films on the following topics: chat addiction, games addiction, online frauds, cyberbullying and mobile phone abuse. The children will also be informed about what they may and must not do online, what to be careful about and how to protect their personal data.
The event is organized by the Metamorphosis Foundation in cooperation with the Directorate for Personal Data Protection and the Internet Hotline Provider – Macedonia.
This event is traditionally celebrated each year and is part of a worldwide series of events marking this day.
*Safer Internet Day is part of a global partnership movement for awareness raising, promotion of a safer internet for all users, especially children and young people and aims to promote a safer and responsible use of online technologies and mobile phones.
