The Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society, within USAID’s Civic Engagement Project, in the past period conducted measurement of the openness of 17 local self-government units in the Republic of North Macedonia.
During December, the Metamorphosis Foundation and local partner organizations are holding meetings with the municipalities that were involved in the measurement of the Openness Index for 2020. These meetings are attended by the mayors and other representatives of the municipalities and will aim to bring closer the results of the measurement of the openness of municipalities to participants. The meetings will also discuss the support that municipalities need to improve their transparency and the opportunities for joint cooperation in this regard.
In accordance with the identified needs, the Metamorphosis Foundation from January 2021 will provide technical support to municipalities in order to promote their openness.
