Round table for active citizen participation held
Within the frames of the Project for decentralized cooperation between the Lower Normandy region and Macedonia, the Metamorphosis Foundation organized a round table on July 7th, 2009, in Skopje, which was an opportunity to discuss whether the new technologies are inciting active citizen participation.

Submitted projects for WSA 2009 presented to the jury
On December 23, 2008, most of the submitted projects for the World Summit Award were presented in the premises of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia. Direct Public Awareness Raising Campaign

Serbia: Conference on Regulation of Freedom of Expression on the Internet
On September 8 and 9, 2008, the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade hosted the international conference on regulation of freedom of expression on the internet, organized by the Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy (PCMLP) of the University of Oxford. Metamorphosis Foundation participated with presentation of the Macedonian experiences in this area.

On Friday, 19.09.2008, beginning at 19.00 hrs an informal meeting on the topic Participation of bloggers at the conference Renaming machine was held in the premises of the Metamorphosis Foundation, attended by 16 bloggers and three representatives from the team which organized the conference.

Bloggers’ Meeting: The State of the Macedonian Blogosphere
An informal meeting took place at the premises of Metamorfosis Fondation on August 15, 2008, as a follow up to the previous blogger’s meeting, with the goal of exchanging impressions about the development of Macedonian blogosphere in the last two years, and the challenges related with that process.
