From 30 November to 3 December 2021, the 17th edition of the annual conference of the Metamorphosis Foundation “e-Society.mk” will be held. This year’s topic is “Democracy in the digital age: challenges and opportunities”.

The conference “e-Society.mk” will bring together experts, activists, journalists, civil servants and supporters from the Western Balkans and beyond to share their views and thoughts on “Democracy in the digital age: challenges and opportunities.” The conference will discuss the state of democracy today, as well as how technology shapes the definition of good governance and civic engagement in modern conditions. The challenges of the digital age with a special focus on disinformation and Internet security will also be discussed.

With the aim to promote the value of open data in the digital age, within the “e-Society.mk” Conference will be held a Hackathon for open data. The main goal of the Hackathon is to bring open data closer to all citizens and present it simply and innovatively.
