Do you want to have all-in-one access to more than 550 promises made by almost every mayor in Macedonia, to be able to search what has your mayor promised and to have the option to follow whether their promises are kept or not? Or, by performing a keyword search to discover all promises made in a particular area of public interest? Or, to be able to find out the priorities of mayors in various parts of the country quickly and simply?
All of this, and much more, is available thanks to Party Promises, mobile and web app developed by the newsroom of Truthmeter, accountability and transparency website, working within Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society, with the support of NED – National Endowment for Democracy.
The app has the new pre-election promises made to citizens by the winning mayor candidates and their parties before the local elections from 15 October 2017 in their pre-election programs and public appearances. It will be constantly updated with new promises, while their status, progress and consistency will be checked. After the necessary journalistic research and analyses, the promises will be assessed on the basis of the level of fulfillment.
