Metamorphosis Foundation together with “Shared Knowledge” organized a workshop on the Wikidata platform. The workshop was held on September 27, 2022 (Tuesday) from 15:00 to 19:00 at Europe House in Skopje.
The workshop was attended by a dozen people who already work or are training in the field of structured data, people who deal with free content and open data, people who are in the field of information sciences, but also individuals who want to acquire the skills of editing and using on the Wikidata platform.
At the workshop, it was discussed how to create wiki topics on Wikidata, how to insert structured data within the framework of an existing or newly created wiki topic, and how to link a wiki topic with a corresponding Wikipedia article.
About the co-organizer Shared Knowledge
Shared Knowledge is a registered association in North Macedonia and is a branch of the Wikimedia Foundation, a hierarchically named user group within Wikimedia. It has existed since March 2014 with the aim of multiplying Wikipedia articles in the Macedonian language, but also on another language Wikipedias, as well as multiplying free content in various forms on other platforms belonging to the Wikimedia Foundation (Treasury, Wikidata, Wikisources, Wikiquotes, Wikibooks, Wiktionary, Wikiuniversities, Wikiviews, Wikitravels).
