Conference held: The development of ICT in Albania’s education system and experiences from other countries
The conference “Development of information technology in Albania’s education system and experiences from other countries.” took place on February 1, 2013, in Tirana, Albania. The main topics of the conference were the conditions in Albania, such as ICT in education reforms, the development of infrastructure for e-learning, the development of information technology, the digitization of education, integration of ICT into the curriculum and skills in the 21st century.

Educational Children’s Film Festival “Our Small Festival” held
The educational children’s film festival “Our Small Festival” intended for students aged 9 to 12 was held from December 14 to 16 in the House of ARM. This year’s festival was attended by pupils from several municipalities of the Republic of Macedonia, and it is expected to become a traditional event for all the children in the country.

Educational Children’s Film Festival
The educational children’s film festival “Our Small Festival” intended for students aged 9 to 12 is to be held from December 14 to 16 in the House of ARM. In the first year of the project implementation, several organized visits of about 1000 students from several municipalities of the Republic of Macedonia are planned, with a tendency for this to become a traditional event for all the children in the country.

Two wiki-marathons held in Skopje
Two wiki-marathons were held in the premises of Metamorphosis on October 18-19, 2012, starting at 10 am. This time, the marathons were attended by a total of 14 participants from the Institutes of history, archaeology and archiving at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje.

Presentation held on privacy policies for entrepreneurs
As part of the training organized by Exquisite on October 16 in the premises of the YES Incubator, a representative of Metamorphosis held a presentation on establishing privacy policies on websites for e-sales, which was attended by 18 students and unemployed persons.

Workshop on capacity building and the use of new media for advocacy
A regional workshop on capacity building and the use of new media for advocacy will be held on October 7-10, 2012 in the Garden Hotel in Ohrid, bringing together members of the Balkan e-Waste Management Advocacy Network from Macedonia, as well as representatives from the region.

Projects on privacy and open educational resources presented in Pristina
At the four-day conference on free software and related trends in the sphere of knowledge, which was held on September 7-10 in Pristina, Kosovo, a representative of Metamorphosis presented the initiatives for openness of science and education undertaken in Macedonia, as well as the current challenges in the field of privacy protection on the Internet.

Coordination Meeting on the Open Educational Resources project
The coordination meeting of a group of experts, teachers, professors and activists in the area of education and new media took place on May 31, 2012 in the premises of Metamorphosis. At the meeting, the objectives and the plans of the Open Educational Resources project (implemented by the Metamorphosis foundation) were presented, and there was a discussion about the opportunities for cooperation, and better connection between all the active stakeholders in this area.
