In May 2021, the Metamorphosis Foundation together with TechSoup partners from five countries: Austria, Hungary, Italy, Bulgaria and Poland participated in two 3-day online Erasmus + trainings, entitled DIGITAL AND TRAINING SKILLS FOR THE SOCIAL SECTOR project.
The workshop “Creating Effective Campaigns to Combat the Reduction of Civil Space” focused on developing the knowledge and skills to design powerful advocacy campaigns that inspire hope and win hearts and minds – using storytelling and narrative strategy.
A group of 20 participants explored systemic thinking tools so that they could further develop strategies in their work that identify the root causes of the problems they are experiencing in relation to reducing civic space and advancing advocacy goals.
“All non-profit employees should have the chance to participate in such training to be reminded that our work is important and that we are really changing the world! It was really positive and I hope we will give an experience,” – said one of the participants in the online training.
“Great inspiration and many useful tools to be used in our communication and strengthening of civil society!” – says a participant in the workshop.
The project is funded by the European Union.
The virtual mobilities implemented by NIOK, WCIF, FVA and Metamorphosis are (co-)founded by the European Union Erasmus + program. The activities are supported by the project “Strengthening Civil Society through Training and Education” funded by the European Union and implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation. The TechSoup Foundation is implementing the project “Digital and skills training for the social sector” within the Operational Program for Development of Knowledge Education, co-financed by the European Social Fund.
