Project MEC: Public Relations Training Held
The public relations training organized by the Metamorphosis Foundation for members of the Commissions for Interethnic Relations and the municipal councillors from the four pilot municipalities included in the Project MEC took place on July 3-4, 2010 in Struga.

Training on multimedia and new media for young journalists completed
The Metamorphosis Foundation conducted the training on multimedia and new media for young journalists in two stages. The first stage of the training took place on June 5 and 6, and the second during the weekend on June 19-20. Seven journalists attended the training, and were awarded certificates for successfully completing the training. The purpose of the training was to prepare journalists from the traditional media for successful inclusion in the process of digitalization and to be willing to use all the technological challenges that are becoming a necessity in their profession.

Last weekend (June 5 and 6, 2010), the first part of the training for use of technical devices, multimedia and new media in journalism took place in the classroom of the Metamorphosis Foundation.

Digital Storytelling workshops held
Two consecutive digital storytelling workshops were held in the period May 21-28, 2010 as part of the Project for decentralized cooperation between the Lower Normandy region and Macedonia, in synergy with the previously conducted trainings within the project Social media for democracy.

Third training on blogging and use of social media held
The third training within the framework of the project “Social Media for Democracy” took place in Kocani (April 27-30, 2010). The training was attended by 35 participants from Skopje, Tetovo, Resen, Stip, Debar, Vinica, Negotino and Demir Kapija.

Second training within the project “Social Media for Democracy” held
Last week, 7 new participants attended the training on blogging and use of social media as advocacy tools, acquiring technical and leadership skills for running blogs for a cause.

Announcement: One-day blogging trainings for NGOs
The Metamorphosis Foundation will organize a series of one-day blogging trainings for NGO staff, within the frames of the project “Inciting local e-content”. Starting from June 11, 2009, trainings will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, and spots will be filled according to the order of registration.
